2016 Narcissist Riesling Reserve

Narcissist Riesling greets the nose with intense peach, citrus and floral aromas. Off-dry, light bodied, delicate and smooth with ripe juicy peach and lime-fruit flavours, this wine shows off with a racy acidity and a fresh clean finish. Serve it as a refreshing aperitif or paired with freshwater fish.
Slightly off dry, this wine works well with salty cheeses and salads. Fish, chicken and Asian cuisine are great choices to highlight the characteristics of this wine.
With Narcissist Riesling, we are selecting the most Easterly exposed fruit from our property in order to get the ultimate balance between acidity and flavours. At pressing, we maintain only the best portion of the juice that we are fermenting separately to preserve the optimum profile of fruit. We ferment steadily for approximately 2 weeks and end the fermentation with just enough residual sugar to balance the wine between minerality, fruit and texture. We, then leave it on fine lees to build texture and complexity on bouquet and palate.
